home-made, or modified, that helps people with special needs maintain or increase their functional capabilities."
Technology Tools:

Technology Tools are items that do not use electricity. Some examples are pencil grips, colored, grid, or raised line
paper, highlighters, Post-It notes, NCR paper, magnetic letters, and rubber stamps.
Mid Technology Tools are small hand-held
items that require batteries. Examples would include tape recorders, calculaters, spell checkers, audio books, and music
(tapes/cds).

are items that use electricity and have a processor or chip. Some examples are computers, CD references, word processors,
